Lidar is an active measuring device that transmits laser light to measure the precise distance between an object and a sensor. It is a radar system which transmits laser beam to detect the target distance, azimuth, altitude, speed, attitude, even shape and other parameters of the target characteristic quantity. It is a sensing equipment. It realizes 2D or 3D modeling of the external environment by transmitting and receiving laser beam.
